Set Those Brows!

Set Those Brows!

Hi loves!

I have a few go-to products that I use whether I’m doing makeup professionally on set or just applying my own makeup. This one in particular that I wanted to share today is brow gel. It’s like hairspray for the brows…but better! This works great, especially if you have brow hairs that go in different directions. Even if your brows are perfect, you may have a day where an unruly brow needs a quick fix! I even use this product when the look I’m creating on a model is very high fashion…with the brow hairs standing straight up!

Set those brows! My favorites are 1. MAC Brow Set – comes in clear and tint (Beguile, Girl Boy, Show-off) with a brush to apply the gel and 2. Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel, a lightweight gel that comes in six colors (Blonde, Carmel, Brunette, Espresso, Granite, Auburn). No flaking or stiffening with either of these products. A must have staple in your makeup bag!

Enjoy!

  1. I definitely need to use brow well because my brows grow in different directions.

I have full brows, as in not sparse in hair, and they are black. I have run into the problem that even the dark brown powders are too light in color. Do you recommend using only powders and pencil to fill full brows? Would a gel based formula such as Anastasia Beverly HIlls Dip brow or MAC’s dip down be okay to use?

    • Hi Christina! Thank you for commenting! I definitely would recommend using a gel based formula specifically for your full brows. These products you mentioned, MAC and Anastasia, would be fabulous and really define your brows. You can always outline your brows with the gel and then fill them in with either a pencil or powder. xo
