Makeup Lesson: Model Casting & Audition
My friend Alanna Vicente stopped by the other day for a quick Makeup Lesson: Model Casting & Audition. She’s a model, actress, singer and wanted to learn how to apply makeup for a model casting & audition. The look is all about fresh clean makeup and radiant skin. The goal is to have them see you at the model casting & audition, not the makeup. I went through each step showing Alanna the correct makeup brushes and tools to use, product placement, and colors that would suit her best. We started with eyes first applying a pretty gold shade from The Balm NUDE’tude Palette. Then moved on to the skin to make it look dewy and fresh by highlighting with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in the shade Pearl. To complete the look, I applied Jose Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil to hydrate the lips. I then added MAC Hue Lipstick and Lorac’s Alter Ego Lipgloss in the shade Duchess for a bit of shine. At the end of the makeup lesson, Alanna felt confident that she could recreate the look at home and thought the look was perfect for a model casting & audition.
