Lucky In Love With Green

Hi loves!

Going out for St. Patty’s Day … or just looking for a pop of color to add to your makeup routine? Try recreating this beauty look I did on model Devon (below) that has a hint of green on the lids and peachy pinks to the cheeks and lips. I’ve written a quick green eyeshadow tutorial below. This look is sooo gorgeous!

Here’s how to recreate the this look:

  1. Use a primer on the lids to help eyeshadow stay on. Try using Put A Lid On It Eyelid Primer from The Balm. This primer contains light reflecting properties that will brighten the eyeshadow colors.
  2. Pat a green eyeshadow on the eyelid; I used the shade Moss by MUD. Then, with the NUDE`tude Nude Eyeshadow Palette by The Balm, carve Sultry (light brown eyeshadow) in the full crease, Sleek (darker brown eyeshadow) in the outer crease, and Serious (black eyeshadow) in the lower outer corner.
  3. Moisturize the skin and add a lightweight tinted moisturizer or foundation for a dewy glow. The Balm carries beautiful tinted moisturizers called BalmShelter.  Their packaging on each product is beyond adorable! If you haven’t noticed, I’m totally in love with their products. ♥
  4. To brighten, add a touch of Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm to the corner of the inner eye. This is a must have highlighter, shimmer, eyeshadow all-in-one.
  5. Curl lashes and coat generously with your favorite mascara. I used Covergirl Lashblast Volume Waterproof Mascara in Black.
  6. Comb brows with a clear eyebrow gel. Anastasia has a clear eyebrow gel that doesn’t flake!
  7. Dust a peachy color on the apples of the cheeks and blend back to the ear.
  8. Line the lips with your favorite nude liner; I used Subculture by MAC.
  9. Dab a nude gloss to the lips. I love using NARS Lip Gloss in Striptease.

I hope you love your new makeup look!
