I’m in love with Katy Perry’s red carpet makeup look for the Grammy’s! Did you see it? It’s a clean beauty makeup look with a gorgeous pink lip. So pretty! Here’s how to get the look!
- Start by applying a paint pot base to the lid of the eye, up to the crease. Try the shade Soft Ochre by MAC cosmetics. This will help your eyeshadow stay put all day and night!
- Sweep a light brown eye shadow on the lid. Carve a deeper tone brown into the crease and under the lower lash line. Add a gold dusting right in the corner crease like a “V”. For the highlight, choose a soft shimmery vanilla color.
- Line the top of the lid with a deep black liquid liner. I like to use Infallible Lacquer Liner 24H – Blackest Black by L’Oreal Paris. This is one of the darkest blacks and will definitely make your eye pop!
- Add false lashes. No 10 from Lashes In A Box are just gorgeous!
- Fill in the eyebrows with a pencil like Brow Wiz by Anastasia. This pencil is great to define brows for a natural look. Be sure to use the Spooley Brush on the end to blend.
- Apply foundation. Try using a foundation brush or beauty blender for a flawless look. The Amazonian clay 12-hour full coverage foundation by Tarte has a beautiful finish with SPF to protect your skin.
- Dust your foundation with a loose powder like Ben Nye’s Luxury Powder. These powders have a silky smooth texture that can be used with any skin type.
- Use a soft pink blush on the apples of the cheeks – blending upward.
- Finish the look with a pretty pink lip. I recommend Motives Mineral Lipstick in the shade Cashmere.
