Bahama Mama matte bronzer is a makeup must have for Summer!
As a Makeup Artist, I’ve been using this pretty bronzer called Bahama Mama from The Balm, for various makeup applications to include bridal makeup and editorial photoshoots. I used Bahama Mama over the weekend during a makeup application I did for my friend and long time client Anna, who was getting ready to compete in a bikini fitness competition. If you are on my Facebook, I’m sure you’ve seen the photos posted. 😉
Bahama Mama is not only a bronzer, but it can be used for contouring or as an eyeshadow too! The Balm calls it a “Caribbean getaway in a compact.” They aren’t kidding! When applied, this bronzer creates beautifully bronzed skin for a fresh off the beach glow!
This 3 in 1 compact (bronzer, contour, powder) is sheer, yet pigmented and is designed to be layered to achieve the perfect shade of bronze. The packaging is just adorable and has a little mirror inside for on the go touch ups! For Anna, I used Bahama Mama as a contour on her cheeks and as a bronzer to give her a sun-kissed glow.
To contour, place this powder into the hollows of your cheeks for added definition. The key is to really blend this out for a natural look. To use as a bronzer, apply where the sun would naturally hit your face. Start at the top of your forehead, lightly dust on your cheeks, and then sweep across your jawline. To use this powder as an eyeshadow, apply color in your crease.
Try Bahama Mama and let me know what you think!
