You have the perfect dress, shoes, and bag for Valentine’s Day …so why not complete your stylish evening look with a sultry makeup that has hints of shimmering gold, bronze, and a pop of red! Whether you are going out with friends or have a hot date, go glam with this Valentine’s Day makeup!
This makeup look I did on Amanda (photo below) would be absolutely perfect for your night out on the town! Here’s how to recreate it:
- Apply an eyeshadow base to the eye lids all the way up to the brow. Try using Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
- Sweep a gold shadow on the lid, a bronze color in the crease and under the eye, and a vanilla color on the brow bone.
- Use a black gel liner on the top of the lid and get right into the lash line for a fuller lash.
- Take a black coal pencil and apply in the waterline to really make the eye pop! I like to use Smolder Eye Coal by MAC.
- Coat lashes twice with a lengthening mascara like Full Exposure Mascara in Jet Black by Smashbox.
- Shape the brows lightly with an eyebrow pencil or a matte shadow. The Perfect Brow Pencil by Anastasia can help you achieve a natural look.
- Apply foundation and lightly powder allowing for a glow to shine through. Laura Mercier’s Loose Setting Powder is lightweight and sheer which is perfect for this look.
- Use a soft peach blush for the cheeks and a deeper shade to contour the cheek bones.
- For those gorgeous red lips, line with a pencil and completely fill in. Then apply a beautiful red lipstick to complete the look! Try NARS Semi Matte Lipstick in Shanghai Express.
