Burgundy Smokey Eye

Burgundy Smokey Eye

Hi Loves, I finally got back to blogging and filming makeup tutorials. Yay! I created this gorgeous Burgundy Smokey Eye look and wanted to share it with you. I thought it would be perfect for Fall! Although it’s Fall season, it’s about 90 degrees here in California. Crazy weather! Wishing I was on the East Coast enjoying the crisp cool weather. 🙂 To create this Burgundy Smokey Eye, I used the Burgundy Times Nine Eyeshadow Palette from MAC. I love this palette because you can create so many different day and evening looks with it. Since this look is all …

Bronze Eyes Bright Lips

Bronze Eyes Bright Lips

Bronze Eyes Bright Lips Hi Loves, I wanted to share with you how I created this bronze eyes bright lips makeup look. For this makeup look I used the Tartelette in Bloom Palette from Tarte. I carved the shade Smarty Pants in the crease, then added Rebel to darken. Then I placed the shade Leader in the corner. To get that really bronzy look, I added the shade Fire Cracker to the lid. It’s such a stunning eye look! Then I applied two different pink liquid lipsticks to complete this bronze eyes bright lips look. Product List: Tarte Tartelette in …

Smokey Eye 3 Lip Options

Smokey Eye 3 Lip Options

Smokey Eye 3 Lip Options Hi Loves, I created this smokey eye makeup tutorial and provided 3 different lip options. First I started this makeup look by applying the shade Bamboo by MAC Cosmetics. Next, I used the Smashbox Photo Matte Eyes Palette, starting with the wheat shade and carving that into the crease. Then I used desert and earthy to darken the eyes to make them more smokey looking. I coated my lashes several times with Haute & Naughty Lash and then added a few Ardell Individuals on each corner. To smoke out my under eye, I used two …

Hi Loves! I’ve been so busy beautifying the world, I figured I should take a breather and share with you the newest Sigma Beauty Fall Softly Collection. I must say, its absolutely gorgeous! ♥ First, let’s chat about the Fall Softly Collection Eye Shadow Palette. It comes with 12 shades bringing forth a new shift on traditional fall hues. Lorac Pro Eye Shadow

Lorac Pro Eye Shadow

Hi Loves! Have you seen the Lorac Pro Eye Shadow Palettes? They are gorgeous and of course, as a Professional Makeup Artist, I had to purchase both of them. ♥ The original Lorac Pro Eye Shadow Palette comes in a black palette. It contains 8 matte shadows and 8 shimmer shadows. Each Lorac Pro Eye Shadow is velvety smooth and very pigmented. You can use these shadows either wet or dry. It’s really hard to pick my favorite shades from this palette, I seriously love them all! How to wear the Lorac Pro Eye Shadow Palette: For a basic day time …

Makeup Tip – Soft Smokey Eye

Hi loves! Want your eyes to pop, but don’t want the harsh black eyeliner look? Create a soft smokey eye by using this makeup tip. Tip: Sans that eyeliner for a softer look!  Under the eye, sweep a light brown eyeshadow from outer corner to inner corner. Then carve a darker brown eyeshadow from outer corner to just to the middle. This technique will enhance the eye, provide a simple smokey effect, without the raccoon eyes. See photo below of the makeup I did on model Lexi for reference. Enjoy! ♥ Debra Johnson Makeup Artist Orange County, California Don’t forget …

Taupe Craze

Recently, I ran across this eye brightening all-in-one, five shadow and liner palette from Lancome called Taupe Craze. Use soft colors for day and intensify with darker shadows for an evening look. For day, try using the peach shadow on the lid and cream color for highlighting the brow. Get an evening look by adding the matte brown to the crease, use the dark taupe for the liner, and place the shimmer to the inside corners of the eye. ♥ Debra Johnson Makeup Artist Orange County, California Don’t forget to share, and comment!
