Holiday Glitter Makeup Tutorial
Hi Loves,
My friend Rachel and her daughter Katie came over to film this Holiday Glitter Makeup Tutorial. This makeup look is all about the glitter! ♥
First I prepped the eye with foundation and applied MAC Vanilla all over. This will help the other eyeshadows blend out better. Next, I took MAC Soft Brown and applied that to the crease. Then in the lower crease, I applied MAC Wedge for added definition. Using the Smashbox Full Exposure Travel Palette, I took the light shade and added that to the lid. To apply the glitter, I prepped the lid with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue and then applied the Eye Kandy Cosmetics Glitter in the shade Jingle Bells.
To prep the skin, I applied the Ole Henriksen Sheer Tranformation that contains Vitamin C Complex, Licorice Root, and Pea Extract. I received this product compliments of Ole Henriksen as part of the #PreenMeVIP program. I wanted this to set into the skin, so I went back to the eye to apply MAC Blacktrack Gel Liner. I love layering mascaras, so I first took the MAC Haute & Naughty mascara and then layered the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara on top.
Then I added foundation to the face and filled in the brows with MAC Lingering Eyebrow Pencil. I recently purchased the 9B blush palette by Morphe and chose the middle color to apply to Katie’s cheeks. To highlight the inner corner of the eyes, I used the NYX Ultra Pearl in White Pearl. For the tops of the cheekbones, I used Sigma Beauty Ravishing Loose Shimmer for a subtle highlight.
For the lips, I chose MAC Dervish Lip Liner and NYX Glam Lip Gloss Aqua Luxe in the shade GLG03. To set the makeup, I used the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
