As a professional Makeup Artist, I’m always excited to test out new products. So of course I couldn’t wait to open the box of samples that Mineral Lustre sent me the other day. I love snail mail! 😉

I instantly fell in love with the Eyeshadow Trio called Smokey Nan. You can easily create a smokey look with these three shades: white, silver, and dark blueish-grey. These shadows are so incredibly pigmented! You only need a tiny bit of product to really make the eye pop.

These smokey eyeshadows are a loose mineral in its purest form. Mineral Lustre products are made in the United States, are cruelty free, and 100% Vegan. These products can be great for sensitive skin because they do not contain talc or bismuth oxychloride, which are known irritants. ♥

To apply the Smokey Nan Eyeshadow Trio, I like to lightly dampen my eyeshadow brush first with either water or a finishing spray. This assists with picking up just the right amount of pigment and laying it down evenly for a flawless finish. Another tip I find useful is to lightly pat the loose mineral eyeshadow onto the lid, instead of using a sweeping motion. This technique can really help control product placement! Try applying these loose eyeshadows before foundation to avoid fallout.

For a simple smokey look, start by applying the silver shadow all over the lid. Use the dark blueish-grey shade in the crease and corner of the eye. Then, finish the look by placing the gorgeous white eyeshadow as a highlight on the brow bone and also on the inside corner of the eye. This look is easy for everyone to create, and is so pretty!
