Modern Renaissance Gold & Burgundy
I had some time and wanted to create a look to share with you. I didn’t really have anything planned out, I just sat down in front of my camera and just decided to wing it. I hope you like this Modern Renaissance Gold & Burgundy makeup look!
First I applied MAC Bamboo in the crease. I like to use this shade to help crease colors blend out better. Next, I applied Burnt Orange from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette into my crease and corner. This look is all about layering eyeshadows to give a smokey effect. Taking the next shade, Red Ochre from the same palette and adding that right on top of the Burnt Orange shade. Like I mentioned, it’s all about layering. To deepen everything up a bit, I took Cyprus Umber and placed that into the lower crease and corner. For the lid, I wasn’t sure what shade to use. I was undecided between Vermeer and Primavera. Since my last makeup tutorial had pink in it, I decided to use the gold shade Primavera for the lid. To smoke out my under eye, I first took Burnt Orange and applied that under the entire eye. Then taking Red Ochre and applying that shade right on top. Using a smaller brush, I applied Cyprus Umber to the outside corner of the under eye. If you watch my channel you know that I love layering mascaras. Of course I used MAC Haute & Naughty Lash and then topped it with MAC Gigablack Lash. These are my two favorite mascaras!
For lips I wanted to provide 2 options. For the first one I applied MAC Subculture Lip Liner paired with Lipglass in the shade C-thru. For the second lip option, I decided to try out a new lipgloss I purchased from Anastasia Beverly Hills called Berry.
I hope you liked this Modern Renaissance Gold & Burgundy Makeup Tutorial. Happy Thanksgiving! ♥
