Get the Look: Model & Actress Aubrey Evans

Hi loves,

As always, I love doing makeup for the lovely model and actress Aubrey Evans. Not only is she totally gorgeous, but she’s also really fun to work with too! ♥ Recently, I worked with her on another photoshoot and had to share this beautiful makeup look. This look focuses on highlighting and contouring the cheekbones and really defining the brow.

Here’s how to get the look:

  1. Prep the eye lid with a primer to make sure eyeshadow stays put. You can use a foundation, paint pot, or an eyeshadow primer like the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer.
  2. Carve a medium brown tone shadow into the crease. I like using matte colors like Wedge or Soft Brown by MAC.
  3. Add a peach shimmer to the eyelids. I love the color Stand-offish in the NUDE’tude palette by The Balm. ♥
  4. Apply a soft nude or vanilla color to the brow bone.
  5. Right underneath the arch of the brow, dust a very light shimmer highlight like Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm. Their packaging is seriously so cute! 😉
  6. Use a bronze color for the corner of the eye and lower lash line for a dramatic look.
  7. Create a dewy skin look by mixing your favorite moisturizer and foundation together.
  8. Set the foundation with your favorite translucent powder. Ben Nye has great powders!
  9. Define the brows with an eyebrow pencil. On Aubrey, I used the shade Lingering by MAC and completed the brow with a gel. This will ensure the brows stay put, especially with all of the clothing changes for the shoot.
  10. Dust a pinky peach blush on the cheeks and sweep out to the ear. The shade Deep Throat by NARS is really pretty.
  11. Add a shadow contour right under the cheek bone for more definition. For those that are tan, Bahama Mama by The Balm works really well!
  12. Focus on the top of the cheek bone to highlight and draw in light. There are so many great highlighters out there. Choose your favorite!
  13. For the lips, apply a nude liner, lipstick, and gloss.

This completes Aubrey’s makeup look. Try it out, let me know what you think!
